Yes I think that he did the write thing because he saved the lives of some soldiers who were fighting and the Nazis had a lot more soldiers than they did.

Yes would be willing to do that because if I did I would also protect the lives of many others because if the leader died than they wouldn't have anyone to watch over them and lead them.

Annemarie's sister Lise died when Annemarie was a young girl.

No I don't agree with this idea because everybody in sometime in their life must be courageous because you never know what is going to happen next. Like if something happens someday that you had no idea would happen yo might need to be courageous to fix it.

It is so long because Ellen is staying with Annemarie and her family and the Nazi's might come in and try to find out if she is a Jew and might take her.
